All our Fat Quarters are pre-cut
Please note that all our fat quarters are pre-cut into the size specified on each product page.
All our fabrics are pre-cut into fat quarters in our UK warehouse, however if you wish to purchase continuous lengths, most fabrics are available for pre-order. Please note that there is a minimum order of 2 meters in any one design. Pre-orders on average take 3-4 weeks to arrive. Our pre-order works this way:
1. Tell us the fabrics name or product code and the quantity required
2. We will check the stock availability
3. We will issue a PayPal invoice
4. Payment and confirmation
5. Average delivery time 3-4 weeks (FREE UK delivery)

We offer FREE UK delivery for all orders. Please note that there is a minimum order of £5.00 per order.
All orders are normally dispatched upon receipt of cleared funds subject to stock availability. If we are out of stock you will be notified at the earliest opportunity. Please see our delivery schedule below for delivery services that are currently available.
Please allow for up to 2 working days for orders to be dispatched. Depending on the number of orders received on the day, most orders received before 5pm will normally be dispatched the following working day. For instance, if you made your order at noon on Wednesday, your order will normally be dispatched on Thursday. We will notify you by email once your order has been dispatched. You will be able to track the status by logging into the My Account section of the website. Unfortunately we cannot deliver on a bank holiday. In this instance please expect your delivery on the next working day.

Tracking your Orders We regret that there is no tracking service available for order sent with 'FREE' standard Royal Mail delivery; however you can check the status of your order by logging into the My Account section of the website.
Orders dispatched by courier using Recorded Delivery and Next Day Delivery are trackable online. You will be provided with a link to track your order progress online when we email to confirm dispatch of your order.
Cancelling your order
When we receive your order, we normally process your order on the same day and it will be dispatched the following working day. Once you have placed your order with us, we cannot accept any cancellation. If you have mistakenly made your order, you must let us know in writing [email is fine], quoting the order number as soon as possible. But we cannot guarantee that your order can be cancelled. When your cancellation is successful, we will arrange a refund as soon as we can. You will receive a confirmation email once the amount has been refunded to your bank account. Please allow up to 5 working days for this process.
Returning your ordered item(s)
We hope you’ll be delighted with your order, but we understand that sometimes you may wish to return item(s) to us. You can return any item within 14 days of receipt for a refund of that item. We regret that all fabrics and trimmings (including lace, decorative trimming and ribbons) are cut to your specification hence they cannot be returned. All other goods (for example appliqué, buttons) may be returned for a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Damaged or faulty items
We do inspect all items before they are dispatched and ensure all items are packaged securely for posting but sometimes items will arrive damaged. In the unlikely event that you receive any damaged or faulty item(s), we will replace or refund them in full. For any queries regarding faulty items, please contact us on returns@MyFabricHouse.co.uk.
We accept payment online by all major credit cards and debit cards – Visa, MasterCard, Switch/UK Maestro, Delta, Visa Electron and Solo. We also accept payment by Paypal. Payments made online are authorised in a secure environment by an accredited payment service provider. For security purposes, we do not recommend payment over the phone as landline is not secured. For security purposes, your invoice address has to be the same address that you registered at your bank, otherwise the bank verification process will fail and the order cannot be processed. Minimum Order Value
There is a minimum order value of £5.00 when shopping at My Fabric House®. If you wish to pay by Cheque or Postal / Money Order the minimum order value is £10.00. Orders for less than this amount will not be processed. Please note that cheque can taken up to 5 working days to clear.
Gift vouchers are available in £10, £15, £25. Vouchers may be redeemed for any products that are listed at My Fabric House website. To redeem the gift voucher, simply enter the voucher code when prompted on checkout. Please note that the voucher can only be redeemed in a single transaction. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and it cannot be refunded.

The voucher will be sent to the registered email address and a hard copy of the voucher will be sent to the delivery address specified at checkout. We know that we may want to feel and touch the fabrics before you buy, unfortunately we currently do not offer sample swatches for fabrics. Our dedicated team is working on improving My Fabric House and this service will be available soon.
All our fat quarters are pre-cut into specified size. If you order more than one quantity, they will NOT be dispatched in a continous piece. In other words, if you buy 3 fat quarters, they will not come in one piece of fabric.
All our fabric by meter fabrics are sold in 1/2 meter, we normally send them in continuous piece, depending on the level of stock. For example if you order 3 meters of fabrics, in most cases you will receive one piece of 3 meters of fabrics but not three separate pieces of 1 meter each. But depending on the availability of stock left in our warehouse, you may receive 3 separate pieces. Should you have a strong preference, please let us know using the contact form as soon as you can after placing the order.
If you want to buy more quantity than what we stocked, you may provide us the product code with the required quantities. We will arrange a special online payment and reorder the stock from our supplier. Please allow up to 10 working days for the items to be dispatched.
The following is a general fabric care guide. Always prewash all fabric before using to avoid shrinkage on a completed sewing project. Cottons and linens are machine washable in cold water (30° or less) preferably using non-biological washing liquid. Screenprinted fabrics should be washed by hand. Polyester fabrics are machine washable but do not iron directly. Drying fabrics in a tumble drier is not recommended. All fabrics should be ironed on a low-temperature setting.
The Use of Fabric
Please be aware that all of our fabrics are intended for interior and craft use only, not specifically recommended for making toys. It is your responsibility to carry out your own testing to acquire specific standard/certification, My Fabric House cannot be held responsible for providing relevant documentation. This does not imply that our fabrics are of inferior quality.
We know how frustrating it can be when you have your heart set on an item and you go to buy it but it's out of stock. Some of our most popular products will run out very quickly so you do need to be quick and get it before someone else does. Most of our standard and classic items are constantly repeatable but some styles introduced that are trend orientated are only available for a limited time so there will be occasions when a product cannot be repeated. Products that are out-of-stock will not be shown on our website. You may want to use the search function on our website and you may find something similar to the one you were looking for. In case you would like to order more after your recent purchase and you cannot find a similar item on our website, you may contact us using the contact form.
Colour on Our Website
We have our dedicated team to do our best to adjust the colour of product picture as accurately as possible so that the colour matches with the actual product. But the colour variation can be significant depending on the graphic card and monitor used. Even if we have adjusted the colour correctly using our professional monitor and shooting equipment, the colour may still vary on your monitor. Therefore we cannot accept any responsibility for colour and/or shade differences between the representations on the website and the actual product.
